Booking Terms and Conditions

Booking a Course:

When you have decided on a course you will need to place you course in the basket then proceed to book online

On receipt of the booking we will send you an email confirming receipt and requesting your full details. We can also invoice you for the course.

A place on a course can only be confirmed once full payment is received. 

Payment can be made through the website or via BACS (details found on invoices)

You must ensure that you meet the Pre-Requisites for the course you are booking, if you do not you may not be able to attend or complete your course. 

Should you require any reasonable adaptions you must notify us at the time of booking.

Amendment / Cancellation by the Customer:

We know that from time to time things change and you may not be able to attend your course booking. If this is the case we will always work with you and aim to find a suitable resolution. This could be switching to an alternate course date, someone attending in your place or a partial refund.All cancellations must be in writing (email or letter) and acknowledged by us. Cancellations will be subject to a £30 booking fee which will be deducted from your repayment.

If you cancel your place on a course less than 4 weeks (28 days) of the course start date we will not be able to refund your payment.

If you wish to amend your booking (change to another course date) within the 4 week (28 day) cancellation / amendment period, we will do our best to try and fill your original place.

If we are unable to fill this place we are unable to offer you a refund and you will need to make a new booking. 

We recommend that you take out personal insurance to cover cancellation on your part.

Amendment / Cancellation by TechClimb

Every attempt is made to ensure that courses run but in the event of cancellation we will notify you as soon as possible.

You will be offered a full refund of the course fee paid or have the option of joining another course on a different date.

In the event of cancellation by TechClimb we will not be liable and are unable to reimburse any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred.

Risk Acknowledgement Statement:

We have an excellent safety record! However all our courses can be physically demanding, you need to ensure that you are fit to participate in the activities booked and understand the physical demands involved.

The activities we run can be hazardous and can involve an element of risk of injury or even death. Bumps, Scrapes and Bruises are a normal part of Adventure Activities.

We will manage the risk as is reasonable but you will need to take responsibility for your own actions and involvement during the course and abide by safety decisions made by the Instructor.
